Situated on the world-famous German Corner, or Deutsches Eck, Koblenz is one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany. Get to know the city where the Moselle River meets the Rhine before your ship will depart in the evening.

In the morning, you may join us for a unique excursion (optional): The cable car takes you to the Ehrenbreitstein Castle, where you can enjoy breath-taking views over the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine, and marvel from atop at the panorama of Koblenz and the Emperor William Monument. In the afternoon, explore the culinary culture of Koblenz during an optional wine experience tour, „Wine Walk“.

Famous for its vineyards, historic buildings and idyllic landscapes, Zell is a charming city in the picturesque Moselle region. From Zell, you can enjoy stunning views over the esteemed vineyards that surround the city. On a covered wagon tour (optional), you will ride through the vineyards and gain insights into Zell and the Zeller Land. During the tour, you can indulge in local wines on a wine tasting.

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey sailing along the Moselle. In the evening, you will reach Bernkastel-Kues. Enjoy the passing scenery and spend the evening relaxing on board.

In 1905, the town of Bernkastel, on the right bank, was merged with the village of Kues, on the left bank. The twin town of Bernkastel-Kues is often referred to as the heart of the Middle Moselle. One of the most popular tourist destinations, the town is considered to be the centre of the region. On a panoramic tour, which includes a guided walking tour through the town as well as a coach tour through the Moselle Valley, you will learn interesting and amusing facts. The excursion will be rounded off with a tutored wine tasting. In the afternoon, the ship will set sail for Traben-Trarbach.

Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle River is famous for its idyllic position, its Art Nouveau architecture, and its wine culture. Indeed, it is a popular destination for wine experts. On our optional guided tour through the underworld of Traben-Trarbach , explore subterranean vaults and learn more about the history of the local viticulture from a different angle. The excursion will be rounded off by a wine tasting in a local wine estate.

In the afternoon, your ship will cruise to your next destination, the town of Cochem.

Enjoy the marvellous scenery of the Moselle region from the ship before reaching the pretty town of Cochem. Cochem Old Town impresses with half-timbered houses, picturesque squares, quaint alleys and its market square. After arriving, we will offer an optional excursion with guided walking tour and a wine tasting. Not only will you learn interesting facts about the town and its sights, but you will also be introduced to the Cochem wine culture. After the guided walk, sample local Mosel wines at one of the town`s  most scenic viewpoints.

In the afternoon, sail on board your floating hotel back to Koblenz. In conclusion of your journey, on the last evening, the captain will invite you for a Gala Dinner.

Excursion program We would be happy to send you an order form with our offer on excursions prior to departure. The excursions will be held in German language. The excursions can only be booked in English language on request (depending on the excursion agency and the minimum number of participants).

Itinerary or program are subject to change at any time. If due to low or high water levels, or bad weather conditions, a route cannot be sailed, the captain reserves the right to alter the itinerary for your safety. (No legal right shall arise in either situation). The same shall apply for repair or maintenance works on locks and bridges ordered by river and other local authorities with little or no advance.

Important notice Please bear in mind that your ship is not only your “vacation hotel”, but also a piece of equipment that is powered by an engine and has to be operated constantly, even at night (sometimes with lock and bridge passages). We recommend that guests who are particularly sensitive to noise bring earplugs. Disturbances must always be expected when passing through locks. Please note: at low water, the pool may have to be emptied to reduce the draught of the ship and is then not available.

Travel documents EU-citizens (without special situations like dual citizenship, main residence abroad or a limited-validity passport) are required to have a valid passport or ID-card, not expiring within six (6) months of the return of your cruise. We kindly ask non-EU citizens, EU-nationals with multiple citizenship or anybody who has to respect special legal entry requirements for the country to visit, to inform about visa and entry documents at the competent embassy.

This trip is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

We recommend that you take out a foreign travel health insurance with repatriation coverage, an accident insurance, a luggage insurance and a travel cancellation insurance.
